I know many of you are busy, but if you can at least see one bout with Rusty giving a little play-by-play, it really is informative. The DDG Army (I'm including Rusty with that group) have mad knowledge about this sport. Rusty, I think it would be helpful if you could even just give some play-by-play while reviewing some footage of a bout...just so I can watch and listen w/o responsibility.  |

Does anyone have one of Detroits bouts taped that we can watch with Rusty?? If we watch a taped bout we can pause it for a discussion.

I know DDG has most of their bouts on DVD. I'll have to try to get a copy to have a viewing session. I've got plenty of old "classic" roller derby tapes (banked track) but most of those old tactics are not quite the same as the modern flat track game. Mostly, some of those old derby games didn't seem to have much in the way of rules enforcement!
